As Rovers sit top of league two, almost half way through the season, our former right back lashes out at our fans on twitter.
Reece Wabara, who played for Rovers over two spells, one on loan in 2013, and then permanent in 2014-2015 under former manager, Paul Dickov, has caused a stir on twitter by calling Rovers fans ‘irrelevant’, and everyone involved with football ‘conmen’.
Wabara left Rovers in the summer of 2015 because he ‘wanted to keep myself [himself] ambitious’, so he moved to local rivals Barnsley (also in league one) but left in January to sign for Wigan, where he went onto secure promotion to the championship, and made it into the PFA league one team of the season.
He was then rewarded by getting no contract, and has been a free agent ever since.
