Darren Ferguson is set to finish off Doncasters’ transfer business by signing two legends: Keshi Anderson and Paul Green.

In an interview with BBC Radio Sheffield, Gavin Baldwin (Doncaster Rovers Chief Executive) said, “Keshis’ on that list (transfer targets)” meaning that the young palace striker could be set for a return to the Keepmoat.

Also, Paul Green set tounges waggin when he featured in Doncasters’ 0-4 win over Rossington Main on Tuesday night, and was described as the man of the match for the first half, where he played his holding midfield position.

Green, also has been training with Doncaster for quite a while now, but the club said it was just for “fitness” purposes, but in an interview with Rovers Player, Darren Ferguson had a great smile on his face while talking about Green, and giving him a lot of compliments.

Ferguson faces a hard decision on the Paul Green front, because he already has numerous amount of options in holding midfield consisting of: Harry Middleton, Luke McCullough and injury prone Paul Keegan.

In my opinion it’s a no-brainer to bring back Keshi, if he is fit, because he did an outstanding job in league one, and him, Williams, McSheffrey, Marquis and Rowe all going forward together as a team, would probably tear league two apart – well I’d like to think anyway, but we are Doncaster Rovers at the end of the day.

On the Paul Green front, I’m not quite sure what to think, because he will have high wages, probably, and Gavin Baldwin, also said that, “it’s quiet” in regard to intrest for the three remaining transfer listed players: Thorsten Stuckmann, Dany N’Guessan and Billy Whitehouse, which could make it harder to sign him.

The club, however have pulled off surprises so far this window though, so you never know, but also like I say it would mean we have a lot of holding midfielders, but at then end of the day I’d love to see Keshi and Paul back in a Rovers shirt!
